Bijou Face Painting

I maintain strict hygiene practices such as using a clean sponge for each face painted and frequent changes of water. I only use professional water based face paints that comply with EU and FDA safety regulations and cosmetic grade glitters. I am also covered for personal Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability. 

 

I am not responsible for any allergic reactions.  If you are in any doubt, then I will perform a patch test.

 

** To ensure the highest levels of hygiene and to minimize risk to other children please inform me at the start of the party if any guests are suffering with any skin condition that maybe worsened by the application of face paints or make up, such as eczema or anything that may be contagious such as cold sores **
 

All paints can be washed off skin using soap and water.

 

I am as careful as possible, but paints can sometimes be spilt on clothing or property.  99% of the time, facepaint washes out of clothing using a biological detergent and by following the normal washing instructions.  I am not responsible for any damage to clothing or property.

Set-up

 

All parties are for 2 hours unless stated; I will arrive 5-15 mins prior to the agreed time to set up. Please arrange for a table and two chairs to be available to use and access to tap water. If the event is being held outdoors, please ensure that there is cover. A 5-10min break is required every two hours. Client/host must provide assistance to watch equipment whilst loading/unloading and during breaks.

 

I am present only as a painter and will not supervise children. The behaviour and safety of the children is the responsibility of the client/parent/carer/host. It is client/hosts responsibility to manage and vet the face painting queue. Please direct children to the artist if there is space and refrain children if there is a crowd. Total number of guests includes birthday girl/boy.

 

We use satellite navigation and plan our routes in advance to ensure arriving within plenty of time, however if you do know of any planned events or road works in your area that may affect us on the day this will be very helpful. Please ensure that there is parking available as close to the entrance of the building as possible, since the artist will have to carry heavy equipment in. Failure to do so may result in the artist not being set up on time.
